IMIB26_C59 Master Technician in Research Support at a Biomedical Research Laboratory - Genetics
Role Overview:
A competition is announced for the hiring of a Master's Degree Research Support Technician for the research line "Clinical Genetics and Rare Diseases," to be based at the Foundation for Health Training and Research of the Region of Murcia.
Responsibilities:
The role involves supporting research activities within the field of Clinical Genetics and Rare Diseases. Specific duties would include conducting research, managing laboratory tasks, and contributing to the analysis of genetic data, among other responsibilities related to research support.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree or equivalent in Science (MECES Level 3) or Health Sciences (MECES Level 3).
- At least 12 months of work experience in research of rare diseases (RD).
- Training of at least 600 hours in Bioinformatics and/or Biostatistics.
- Proficiency in Spanish at a good level.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Science (MECES Level 3: Master's) or University Degree in Health Sciences (MECES Level 3: Master's).
- Work experience in research of rare diseases (RD) of at least 12 months.
- Training in Bioinformatics and/or Biostatistics of at least 600 hours.
- Good command of the Spanish language.
What They Offer:
- Gross annual salary of โฌ31,024.20 (โฌ2,585.35 gross monthly salary, including bonuses) or proportional amount for shorter periods.
- Social security contributions and legally applicable income tax (IRPF) will be deducted monthly from the gross salary, in accordance with current regulations.
- Recruitment follows the principles of open, transparent, and merit-based recruitment (OTM-R policy), in compliance with the European Charter for Researchers and the HRS4R Strategy.
