Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC coping and cutting equipment; Process structural steel beams, columns, channels, and related components; Read structural steel shop drawings, blueprints, and dimensions; Move steel using overhead cranes and forklifts; Perform coping, cutting, drilling, and other programmed machine operations; Check completed parts with tape measures, calipers, squares, and other measuring tools; Change tooling and make basic machine adjustments as needed; Troubleshoot basic machine issues and perform routine maintenance; Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; Follow production schedules and quality requirements.
