Responsibilities
Install and administer OpenShift clusters using IPI, UPI, and assisted installer methods; Manage cluster lifecycles, upgrades, nodes, machine configuration, registries, storage, and networking; Implement security hardening, RBAC, SCCs, Pod Security Standards, OAuth, identity providers, and network policies; Design multi-tenancy, namespace isolation, quotas, and network segmentation; Develop and operate GitOps deployment models with Argo CD, Helm, and SOPS-encrypted values; Build monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions with Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, Loki, and Grafana; Develop Ansible playbooks, inventories, workflows, and API-based automation; Integrate secrets with AWS Secrets Manager and HashiCorp Vault; Manage container runtimes, images, operators, CRDs, CSI integrations, load balancing, DNS, ingress, and egress; Support backup, restore, disaster recovery, capacity planning, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis; Create technical documentation and runbooks; Collaborate across teams during incidents.
