Responsibilities
Overall responsible for inspection of Raw material, Chemicals, Packing material, In-process material & Finished goods; Responsible for Smooth operation of QC shifts; Responsible for Quality Management; Ensure the safety of all equipment & personnel by imparting & implementing safety awareness; Facing Inspection & Audit related to products; Data analysis of quality problems; Attending to customer complaints; Responsible for Glass, Resin & binder formulation; Responsible for Resin & binder preparation; To maintain the secrecy of formulation; Responsible for Housekeeping; Co-ordination with other departments for better performance & smooth running of plant; Overall responsible for QC operations & reporting to Plant Head; Responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standard, customer requirements as per specification; Prepare overall MIS report and maintain all documents as per implemented system; To summarize weekly/ monthly reports of non-conforming products and implementation of corrective actions in coordination with production dept. for continual improvement in the product quality; Provide feedback of moisture & LOI control in uncured glass wool product on daily basis to production manager/plant head; Ensure proper traceability of product / batch no. / Dimension /Density/ Area in Sq. mtr or as per customer need; Submission of monthly QC reports; Complaint investigation along with preventive action; Comparative analysis of product sample given by marketing as & when required; Overall responsible for BIS audits and timely renewal of BIS license; Retention of all records as per retention policy.
