Responsibilities
Lead the EHDS Data Inventory and Cataloging workstream to identify in-scope datasets; Establish and maintain a complete inventory of data including ownership and characteristics; Apply EHDS secondary-use data categories and metadata standards; Develop minimum metadata requirements and classification guidance; Coordinate with data owners to validate dataset information; Register and maintain dataset descriptions in required catalogues; Embed EHDS requirements into processes for new data holdings; Define standard operating procedures and training for cataloging; Monitor evolving EHDS regulations and incorporate changes; Support vendor evaluation for cataloging services; Provide subject matter expertise and coaching to data owners.
