Responsibilities
Lead procurement activities within NPI and innovation projects; Provide central procurement contact for cross-functional product development teams; Lead and support NPI procurement buyers in developing sourcing strategies and supplier integration models; Promote collaboration with commodity teams to ensure effective implementation of commodity strategies in early project phases; Drive early supplier involvement during product development to identify cost optimization, standardization, and innovation potential; Ensure procurement integration from earliest project phases and support design-to-cost, target-costing, value engineering, and multi-sourcing initiatives; Coordinate supplier nomination, qualification, and onboarding activities for new products and technologies; Lead procurement risk assessments for innovation projects and define countermeasures; Build and maintain long-term strategic supplier partnerships; Manage supplier segmentation, supplier performance management, regular business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
