Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall ELV design process for data center projects; Oversee backbone and horizontal cabling, containment, pathways, racks, and patching infrastructure; Lead the design coordination of physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, and alarms; Coordinate ELV design interfaces with electrical, mechanical, architectural, civil, structural, fire protection, IT/network, security, operations, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders; Provide technical guidance to ensure ELV solutions are reliable, scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with project and operational requirements; Review drawings, specifications, schematics, system architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and design documentation to verify completeness, coordination, technical accuracy, and constructability; Ensure ELV, BMS, and BA designs align with DayOne internal standards, industry standards, local regulations, authority requirements, project requirements, and end-user requirements; Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to review ELV equipment, systems, materials, and technologies against project needs, technical requirements, and lifecycle expectations; Identify risks, resolve technical issues, and support decisions related to design coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, handover, and operational readiness; Support testing, commissioning, as-built validation, documentation review, and handover for ELV, ICT, security, BMS, and BA systems
