Responsibilities
Assist anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia; Monitor patient vital signs and airway during procedures; Provide immediate post-operative care and monitoring in the Recovery Room; Respond to post-operative complications and initiate emergency protocols; Communicate with surgical team, anaesthetist, and ward staff; Provide discharge education to patients and/or family members.
