Responsibilities
Develop and evolve backend APIs and services in Java with Spring Boot; Design and implement event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub) for resilient system integration; Build adaptation layers (adapters, facades, BFFs) for incremental migration; Optimize critical endpoints for performance and scalability; Define and implement data access patterns and API exposure standards; Support data model and contract versioning transitions; Implement robust resilience and performance practices (circuit breaker, retry, timeout, fallback, rate limiting); Identify and mitigate latency and resource bottlenecks; Ensure complete API observability with logs, metrics, and distributed tracing; Document API contracts, events, and technical decisions.
