Responsibilities
Provision and manage Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking, integration runtimes); Maintain availability, performance, and security of the data platform; Monitor infrastructure health (compute, storage, networking, access); Manage Identity & Access (RBAC, managed identities, key vault integration); Ensure platform compliance (security, encryption, audit requirements); Support hybrid setups (on-prem cloud connectivity where applicable); Manage patching, upgrades, and platform maintenance; Monitor logs and alerts (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics); Work with infra/security teams on incidents and escalations; License to operate activities that includes DR, backup, security controls; Maintain documentation for assumptions, logic, and version control; Evaluate user requirements and advise on design and content of software engineering required to deliver required features; Ensure Architectural design Alignment; Provide effort estimation and sequence for delivering designed features; Develop and configure designed features; Code optimization; Perform component integration testing on engineered software; Assist with system integration testing on engineered software; Plan cutover or migration activities required to implement required features; Deploy software to production and perform planned cutover activities; Provide technical thought leadership around how new concepts should be architected and designed; Provide quality assurance on deployment of new solutions; Participate in the SAFE Agile Ceremonies as per SBG Group Adopted Operating Model; Provide regular update to the scrum master/engineering lead/RTE.
