## Job Title Senior ICT Network Specialist ## Job Description Senior ICT Specialist - Veghel ## Responsibilities - Take the lead within the team and co-own the network roadmap with the Product Owner and Architect. - Contribute to designing and delivering network features within the Agile Release Train. - Optimize network architectures with a strong focus on security (e.g., Zero Trust, NIS2, ISO27001), performance, and user experience. - Automation and continuous improvement are key, using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Atlassian tools. - Translate business needs into secure network solutions, act as a technical escalation point, and ensure proper knowledge sharing and documentation. ## Key Activities - Ensure optimal performance and availability of the global network infrastructure. - For complex changes or critical incidents, take the lead in delivering effective solutions. - Actively contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and alignment with business goals as part of the agile team. - Collaborate closely with other ICT teams to deliver consistent and integrated solutions. - Design and implement network solutions that meet evolving business needs and comply with security standards. - Work with modern technologies such as Aruba (CX, Wireless, ClearPass), EVPN/VXLAN/BGP, Check Point firewalls, F5, and WAN solutions (Internet, IPsec VPN, SD-WAN). - Automation plays a key role using NetBox, Ansible, Terraform, and Python. ## Requirements - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT (or equivalent) - Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written) - 8+ years of experience in IT networking - Strong technical expertise and communication skills - Experience in global enterprise environments - Comfortable working at the intersection of IT and business - Familiar with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and product teams ## Benefits - Competitive salary range of € 5.600,- to € 6.700,- gross per month (excluding holiday allowance) - 40 vacation days (20 statutory days and a flexible budget worth 20 days) - Flexible working hours - Hybrid workplace (40% working from home and 60% in the office) - Health & Wellbeing budget worth € 300,- per calendar year - Commuting allowance, including full reimbursement of travel by public transport - Working from home allowance - Collective pension scheme and discount on additional health insurance - On-site company health center with a gym, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists - Vanderlande Academy and training facilities to boost your skills - A variety in Vanderlande Network communities and initiatives ## Contact Apply now directly on our workday vacancy link with your resume and motivation letter!
