Staff QA Automation Engineer (Android & iOS)
Required skills
10+ years of experience as a QA Engineer and at least 2+ years of experience in developing automation for mobile platforms, Proficiency in Kotlin or Java programming languages, with hands-on experience in UI testing frameworks such as Espresso, UiAutomator, Compose UI Test, Proficiency in Swift programming language, with hands-on experience in UI testing frameworks: XCUITest and XCTest, Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools, Strong technical skills and being pro at identifying issues and solving complex problems, Good understanding of the software development life-cycle process, Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes, Proactiveness and high motivation

Responsibilities
Automate away the waste in the testing of Proton Mail’s mobile applications, Shape the overall testing architecture and standards (ensuring consistent metrics, quality approach, defect resolution process, CI/CD pipelines), Establish a team mindset focused on quality. Use your sharp eyes and technical knowledge to ensure Proton users enjoy a flawless experience, Keep engagement high with a fast-paced development process and ongoing deliveries. Execute and adjust your testing activities accordingly, Collaborate closely with Customer Support to identify issues, priorities, and user feedback, Define and lead a unified quality strategy for the Inbox Business Unit
