MyDyson™ app has 4 million active users. The MyDyson™ app is at the forefront of Dyson's IoT experience. The company is looking to grow its app as it connects more machines. The role involves working globally across iOS development, Android development and mobile testing/automation.

What you’ll be doing
Own and communicate the architectural vision for the MyDyson app. Contribute to the definition and design of systems in which the MyDyson app is a part. Support app development teams on complex features and initiatives. Represent the app team from a technical perspective in conversations with business stakeholders. Share your knowledge and experience with the junior members of the app team. Proactively identify technical risks within projects and influencing teams in their resolution. Identify and drive the deployment of new technologies and tools to help continually improve standards and quality across the wider team.
About you
10+ years of experience working on and scaling global Android mobile applications. You thrive on solving tough technical challenges and setting the technical direction for product teams. You’re hands-on—a coder at heart—but you also see the bigger picture and shape the roadmap. You’re comfortable working across disciplines. You have strong knowledge of modern app architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and design patterns and have extensive experience with modern Android development with Kotlin, Compose and Jetpack libraries. You’re a collaborative person that understands and believes in the Agile principles, and how they can enable empowered app teams to deliver robust and scalable software solutions.
