Lead Software Engineer
Required skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience. At least 6 years of industry experience in Java (Spring Boot) and NodeJS, as well as developing backend RESTful services within a microservices architecture. Experience with SQL, Elastic search y AWS. At least 6 years of experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Good knowledge and understanding of Version Control tools (preferably Git).
Preferred skills
Experience of working within an Agile delivery environment. Experience running services in docker. Experience using Jenkins.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services and APIs in a microservices architecture. Build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Java and Spring Boot. Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on AWS, using Docker and CI/CD pipelines. Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code, following backend best practices. Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing systems to ensure reliability and performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
