Interpret blueprints and sketches to identify design impracticalities and formulate production processes; Determine sequence of operation, number and type of cuts required, and method of set-up; Operate variety of manual and automatic machines to prepare and machine parts; Monitor parts through production by visual observation to ensure products meet specifications; Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machines; Repair malfunctioning shop equipment and machines.
