Prepare purchase orders within the system, ensure POs are created before commitment and goods receipt is performed within 3 days, track supplier order acknowledgements, transmit and prioritize approved purchase orders with supporting documents, participate in planning reviews with operations and production teams, identify opportunities for lead time improvement and cost reduction, support quality control by communicating non-conformance reports to suppliers, prepare return documentation, follow up on exception messages, ensure adherence to supplier agreements, support accounts payable and warehouse in resolving discrepancies
