Responsibilities
Operate straddle carriers to transport large modules, containers, or heavy equipment across designated work areas. Safely maneuver and operate cranes to lift, move, and position oversized loads. Use large-capacity forklifts to load, unload, and relocate equipment and materials. Conduct pre-operation inspections on all equipment to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with standards. Follow load charts, weight limits, and rigging requirements to prevent accidents or equipment damage. Work closely with ground crews, riggers, and supervisors to coordinate safe lifting and transport activities. Maintain accurate records of equipment use, movement logs, and safety checks. Report equipment malfunctions, damage, or safety concerns immediately. Adhere to OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations. Support general yard, warehouse, or logistics activities as needed.
