Senior DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure

## About the role As a DevOps engineer in the team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our DevOps strategy, and working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and evolve the cloud infrastructure optimized for performance, scalability and security in order to support our next 10x growth. You will bring to the team a level of expertise in operational platform management, developing observability and detection capabilities that will decrease time to discover problems and allow our teams to increase stability and not sacrifice agility or security. They manage K8s clusters for domain services and maintaining its reliability. Additionally, they create and enhance tooling and platforms to empower the engineering team with improved self-service capabilities. This role is based in Singapore. ## Responsibilities - Leading the design of DevOps strategy - Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and evolve cloud infrastructure - Developing observability and detection capabilities to improve stability and security - Building consensus among DevOps Engineers across geographies about tools and practices - Evolving consensus into agreed standards - Managing K8s clusters for domain services and maintaining reliability - Creating and enhancing tooling and platforms for improved self-service capabilities ## Requirements - Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Python/Ansible/shell) - Software engineering background (Infra/Platform Engineer) - Experience in cost management, access management, and self-service platform development - Operations background (Service Mesh Istio & K8s) - Experience in traffic management and architecture of service mesh - Expertise in public cloud, large-scale K8s clusters and services, Istio service mesh, service registry, service discovery, Infra, and Service Reliability ## Nice to Have - Experience with AI to work smarter and solve problems faster - Experience with global team collaboration ## Benefits - Competitive salary and benefits package - Flexible work arrangements - Opportunity for career growth and leadership - Collaborate with exceptional teammates on high-visibility projects - Work on cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools ## Staff level For Staff level, we expect you to have around 10 years or at least 8 years experience. You should be able to demonstrate more in-depth understanding in the complexity of projects and the design of code systems. ## Senior level For Senior level, we expect you to have around 6 years or at least 5 years experience.
