Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain Android apps written in Java and Android Studio.
Communicate with the product team to design new features and provide updates on development progress

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
5+ years of experience in developing native apps in a production setting using both Kotlin and Java
Understanding of memory management as it pertains to runtime on a mobile device
Understanding of /and ideally experience developing Android SDK for integration into 3rd party apps
Understanding of API integration within an Android mobile app
Understanding of Android material design concepts; experience with transitions and animations

Required Skills

Android development with both Kotlin and Java
Organization and multitasking skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
