Lead and develop a team of 4–5 manufacturing engineers; own end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle for vehicle-integrated products; set portfolio-level manufacturing strategy flexing between low-rate/high-complexity and high-volume programs; partner with design engineering for Design for Manufacturability; act as SME for vehicle-level integration (mechanical, harnessing, powertrain); own documentation stack (MBOMs, work instructions, procedures); develop differentiated production methodologies; establish sustainment engineering approach; facilitate make-versus-buy decisions; collaborate on capacity and floor-space planning; analyze metrics for continuous improvement; travel to OEMs and field sites for sourcing and problem-solving.
