Lead functional decomposition of BESS product and maintain functional flow block diagrams; Develop Concept of Operations and use cases to define system functions; Create and manage system state diagrams and mode definitions; Derive lower-level requirements with clear traceability; Engage third parties to solicit interface definitions and integrate into system baseline; Own Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment including hazard identification and risk classification; Lead Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis driving cross-functional participation; Partner with firmware and modeling engineers to ensure behavioral requirements are implementable and correctly realized; Support verification planning for functional and safety requirements; Maintain behavioral architecture and functional safety documentation
