Manufacturing Engineer
Required skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline; 1–4 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, automation, or mechanical design; strong mechanical aptitude; ability to analyze technical or manufacturing data; knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies; strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred skills
Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing environments; experience with manufacturing process validation and equipment commissioning; experience with Excel, JMP, Minitab, Python, or similar analytical tools; exposure to PFMEA, Control Plans, and process documentation; knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies; experience supporting automation or production equipment projects.
Responsibilities
Support development and optimization of manufacturing processes and production equipment; improve process capability, quality, throughput, and overall production efficiency; assist with commissioning, startup, validation, and troubleshooting of new manufacturing equipment; analyze manufacturing and production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities; develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including Work Instructions, SOPs, Control Plans, and PFMEAs; support design and improvement of tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing aids.
