Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end domestic and international shipping operations across air, ocean, and ground networks; Oversee packaging, labeling, documentation, and shipment execution for dangerous goods in accordance with IATA, IMDG, and 49 CFR regulations; Ensure all logistics activities comply with applicable export control regulations, including ITAR, EAR, customs requirements, and hazardous materials regulations; Maintain and manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and logistics service providers; Develop, monitor, and report on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs); Maintain required dangerous goods certifications and ensure proper employee training; Develop, standardize, and maintain logistics standard operating procedures (SOPs); Build and maintain audit-ready documentation systems; Support implementation and optimization of ERP, SCM, and shipping management systems; Partner with Supply Chain, Production, Legal, Engineering, Business Development, and Program Management teams; Utilize NetSuite and other business systems to prioritize customer orders; Advise engineering and operations teams on packaging design and compliance; Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on logistics efficiency, scalability, compliance, and cost optimization
