Responsibilities
Own technical direction and architecture for EPS including solar arrays, batteries, and power distribution units; Lead trade studies balancing performance, risk, cost, schedule, and SWaP constraints; Drive design, analysis, and verification of power hardware from concept to on-orbit operation; Conduct radiation and reliability analyses to define mitigation strategies; Lead qualification campaigns including EMI/EMC, thermal vacuum, and vibration testing; Direct system-level integration of EPS hardware with avionics and software; Mentor engineers across EPS and avionics teams; Represent power systems to internal stakeholders and customers
