Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Engineers in the Technical Office of Engineering (TOE) responsible for all R&D functions in the Production Center; Hire and onboard new team members as needed to meet program and organizational growth; Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement; Ensure proper workload balance, resource planning, and team development; Coordinate with MSTs and the Production Center (P, QA) for industrialization and design adaptation; Manage Engineering Change Management and secure integrated issues management; Conduct Root cause analysis and ensure collaboration with quality, suppliers, and development; Organize Test-car build and build documentation for Launch Support; Provide technical coordination with suppliers and evaluate component quality and manufacturability; Develop long-term strategies for component maturity, sourcing, innovation, and future technology roadmaps; Align closely with production, quality, sales, purchasing, finance, product management, vehicle dynamics, CAE, other R&D teams, and cross-system engineering partners.
