Responsibilities
Own development of visible and thermal infrared camera subsystems including generation of technical specifications and interface control documents (ICDs), trade studies, vendor technical management, performance characterization and testing, and failure mode and root cause analysis. Define camera test requirements, pass/fail criteria, and test strategies. Define parameters for camera environmental qualification campaigns, including radiation testing and thermal environmental stress screening (ESS). Support subsystem and instrument-level testing, including environmental (vibration, thermal-vacuum (TVAC) testing and system characterization/V&V. Contribute to the continuous improvement of best practices, processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in instrument development.
