Define system-level architecture and functional requirements for energy storage systems; Manage system requirements, interfaces, and traceability from cell to grid; Lead functional safety architecture including fault detection and protection strategies; Drive systems integration across embedded software, power electronics, thermal, and mechanical subsystems; Partner with embedded teams to guide development of real-time, safety-critical firmware; Develop and validate system models for performance, thermal, and electrical behavior; Lead verification and validation strategy (DV/PV) and support certification efforts (UL, IEC, IEEE); Identify system risks and drive DFMEA and mitigation strategies; Build and mentor a high-performing systems/embedded team
