Responsibilities
Lead a team building the Harness Cloud platform including lifecycle management of a large fleet of virtual machines, bare-metal infrastructure, and Kubernetes environments; Drive the architecture, scalability, security, and reliability of distributed cloud infrastructure powering millions of CI workloads; Partner with Product Management to define technical roadmaps and deliver capabilities that improve platform scalability, reliability, performance, and customer experience; Work closely with Principal Engineers to define long-term technical strategy and architecture for the Harness Cloud platform; Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, SRE, and Customer Success teams to diagnose and resolve complex production issues across distributed infrastructure; Foster engineering excellence through architecture reviews, design discussions, peer code reviews, and operational best practices; Lead incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvements in observability, resiliency, and operational maturity; Recruit, mentor, and grow engineers and technical leaders while building an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture; Balance execution of customer commitments with long-term investments in platform scalability, automation, and developer productivity.
