Responsibilities
Contribute to development of high-quality glazing components delivering on optical clarity, structural performance, weathersealing, and safety compliance; Lead or support engineering, packaging, release, and launch of glazing components; Translate exterior design intent into production-feasible glazing solutions; Define and manage glass specifications including thickness, laminate construction, and coating requirements; Manage component-level DFMEA, DVPR, SCCAF, and robustness checklists; Collaborate with suppliers and encapsulation molders to ensure tooling readiness and bond performance; Define GD&T datum and locating strategy for glazing assemblies; Support glass bonding and direct glazing system development; Perform DFM assessments for encapsulation molding and glass forming.
