Responsibilities
Lead full lifecycle software and database development activities including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation; Modernize and maintain applications supporting waste transportation, packaging, and regulatory requirements; Implement system changes based on updated regulatory and packaging documentation; Lead the migration of an existing Transportation database application to the WDS platform; Architect and develop a new VDRUM module within the CTMA framework; Provide backup database administration support within an Oracle RDBMS environment; Enhance Chemical Compatibility functionality to support waste characterization and packaging; Add and maintain new waste packaging types and associated system functionality; Participate in regular change control, technical support, and project meetings with distributed technical teams; Develop requirements documentation, design specifications, level-of-effort estimates, test plans, and other technical deliverables; Ensure software deliverables comply with applicable quality assurance requirements and IEEE frameworks.
