Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical subsystems for advanced packaging semiconductor tools; Create detailed mechanical designs, 3D models, engineering drawings, and specifications; Perform engineering analysis including tolerance stack-up, structural, thermal, vibration, and fluid flow assessments; Support subsystem requirements definition and translate system-level requirements into mechanical design solutions; Collaborate with systems, electrical, controls, and process engineering teams; Develop and execute test plans to verify performance and reliability; Investigate and resolve technical issues through root cause analysis; Drive DFM, DFA, and cost optimization initiatives; Support NPI, prototype builds, validation, and manufacturing transfer; Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners; Contribute to FMEA, risk assessments, and reliability improvement efforts.
