Responsibilities
Lead, build, and scale the oncology laboratory organization including headcount planning and competency management. Own the oncology laboratory operating budget and P&L including COGS and capital equipment planning. Drive operational performance against TAT, throughput, capacity, and quality targets. Lead laboratory scale-up, new-assay onboarding, and vendor procurement. Provide technical oversight of somatic variant interpretation and report sign-out. Troubleshoot technical issues across oncology workflows. Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and NYSDOH standards. Collaborate with bioinformatics and R&D on assay development and interpretation guidelines.
