Responsibilities
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for thermal control systems; Design, fabricate, and activate ground support equipment and test articles; Operate, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify manufacturing and testing equipment (pressurized, pneumatic, hydraulic, oxygen, refrigerant, data/control systems); Create and maintain detailed manufacturing plans, assembly procedures, and work instructions; Identify and resolve manufacturing challenges via root cause analysis; Collaborate with design teams on manufacturability of thermal and environmental hardware components; Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and approve manufacturing processes; Perform hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of components; Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain quality control processes; Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing efficiency and waste reduction.
