Own 3D CAD modeling and 2D detailed drawings for custom connectors; Design housings, contacts, strain reliefs, and sealing features; Create complete manufacturing packages including GD&T and assembly instructions; Perform connector power calculations and mating force analysis; Collaborate with EE to ensure signal integrity and power delivery; Develop and execute validation test plans for environmental and mechanical stress; Manage custom connector programs end-to-end including RFQ and supplier selection; Support prototype builds, first article inspections, and bench-level troubleshooting; Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and revision history in PLM systems
