Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the month-end close process; Develop and approve weekly payment runs; Ensure timely entry of AP bills and review of accrued liability journal entries; Partner with departments to track spend by project; Minimize year-end audit cleanup through detailed monthly review of account reconciliations; Serve as subject matter expert for complex account balances including internally developed software and leases; Review month-over-month fluctuations and contribute to financial statement analysis discussions; Work with external auditors and tax consultants; Own ad hoc projects including reclassification and process documentation; Identify and implement improvements for the month-end close process
