To realize this ambition, we are looking for an experienced AI Platform Engineer who doesn't just develop AI solutions, but makes them scalable, reliable, and production-ready.
The Challenge
In this position, you combine the roles of AI/ML Engineer and MLOps Engineer. You are responsible for building AI and ML solutions, operationalizing models into production, developing AI pipelines, and managing the core AI platform. Your main focus lies on practical implementation within commercial and operational processes.
You will work closely with Data Engineering, Product Management, Software Engineering, external AI partners, and business stakeholders.
What You Will Do
AI & Machine Learning Engineering: Develop AI and ML models, implement Generative AI use cases, build recommendation and prediction engines, integrate LLMs & AI APIs, and develop workflows for intelligent automation, employee copilots, and AI agents. MLOps & Platform Engineering: Set up and maintain ML pipelines, operationalize models to production, configure monitoring and observability for AI workloads, manage model lifecycles, and automate continuous training, deployment, retraining, latency, and performance tuning. AI Governance & Security: Support AI governance guidelines, ensure data security and privacy around AI workloads, implement guardrails, model controls, explainability, and auditability. Innovation & Strategy: Explore emerging AI technologies, advise on AI architecture choices, help shape the AI roadmap, and translate business use cases into scalable, high-impact AI solutions.
Tech Stack & Qualifications
Experience: 4–7 years of experience in AI engineering, ML engineering, or platform engineering with a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Core Skills: Strong Python programming skills, deep understanding of data engineering, API architecture, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and deploying models to production environments. AI Ecosystems: Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, AI APIs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks. Nice to Have: Experience with Vertex AI, LangChain / LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, BigQuery, Kubernetes / containerization, real-time AI agents, recommendation engines, sales AI, Salesforce, or experience within fintech/automotive.
A note on your profile: We are looking for someone who is technically strong yet pragmatic—someone who can quickly experiment, industrialize ideas, take ownership, and cares more about real business impact than "research for the sake of research".
What We Offer
Salary: €7,000 – €9,500 gross per month (depending on experience) Impact: A key role driving the AI transformation across our organization, working on innovative AI use cases with direct business impact in an ambitious scale-up environment.
