## Responsibilities - Bring up a novel solution and we could implement it, this is a high impact role. - This is a heavy backend role. There is zero frontend work required. - If you find joy in clean code, robust API design, and an elegant data flow, you’ll fit right in. ## Requirements - Deep Python Expertise: You understand the language intimately, from its memory management to its async capabilities and ecosystem. - API Architecture: You have a proven track record of designing, building, and scaling high-performance APIs. - LLMs as a tool not a crutch: You know what the tools are actually good for, you know when something is common and simple enough that "Ai" can knock it out Vs. Allowing a tool to run off into the woods. - Do not have recent experience or primary stack relying on NodeJS or Java. - This is 100% backend/systems focused. No frontend frameworks. - Do not have PHP experience unless it’s a distant memory from 15 years ago. ## Nice to Have - We value polyglot mindsets. You don't need to know all of these, but familiarity or excitement about them is a massive plus: - C# is a strong plus. - Rust or Go (Golang) experience. - Elixir (we find it interesting!). - Ruby is perfectly okay by us. ## Benefits - You will have the autonomy to solve hard problems, optimize deep backend infrastructure, and influence our technical direction. - We don’t use a single framework. We prefer polymaths intellectuals who look at a problem and choose the right tool for the job rather than just the tool they know best.
