Litigation Lawyer

Job Overview

A growing law firm is interested in hiring a lawyer to join an expanding litigation practice. The firm is focused on advocating for and preserving civil liberties in Canada while assisting individuals seeking accessible legal representation.

Responsibilities

• Work on and run litigation files as directed
• Attend court and tribunal hearings as directed, which will typically be virtual, but will be in-person at times and may require some travel
  
  

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited Canadian law school
• Admission to the bar in any of the following: BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or Ontario
• Possession of and access to a computer, phone, reliable internet connection, and suitable (at-home) office space
