Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, Drive test planning, STLC execution, SQL/API validation, defect management, Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements, Produce clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases, Facilitate workshops and requirement walkthroughs with both business and technical teams, Identify gaps, dependencies, and risks early in the delivery lifecycle, Maintain and manage the requirements traceability matrix throughout the project, Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned to business requirements and acceptance criteria, Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT test cycles, Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution, Work closely with developers to ensure defects are understood and fixes are verified, Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders, Contribute to test automation where applicable, Act as the single point of contact between business stakeholders and the QA/delivery team, Ensure requirements and test coverage are aligned at every stage of delivery, Participate in sprint ceremonies — planning, reviews, and retrospectives, Produce clear status reports on testing progress, defect trends, and quality metrics, Champion quality standards and best practices across the team
