Responsibilities
Define, maintain, and enforce cloud architecture standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices for Cloud Operations; Review and approve technical designs, IaC pull requests, and platform changes impacting production and non‑production environments; Act as technical lead during major incidents, driving deep technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA); Identify systemic weaknesses and lead permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence; Support service reliability targets (availability, performance, recoverability); Lead the design and evolution of Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation; Drive automation across provisioning, patching, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and recovery processes; Mentor Cloud Operations engineers, raising overall technical maturity and engineering discipline; Approve or reject technical designs and implementation approaches; Enforce engineering standards, architectural guardrails, and technical best practices
