Digitalization Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digitalization Specialist to join our Third-Party Cyber Risk Management team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the software development and optimization of digitalized TPRM processes supported by web applications, ensuring they meet current and future business needs. This role involves small-scale software development, gathering business requirements, translating them into actionable technical specifications, collaborating with outsourcing developers if required, and proactively identifying opportunities for additional software development and web application improvements.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Software Development: Develop and maintain small-scale software solutions, including customizations and system administration tasks. Collaborate closely with outsourced developers, QA testers, UX specialists, and data visualization experts to deliver best-in-class web applications.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, users, and cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and document business requirements for the development of the web application.
- Technical Translation: Translate business requirements into clear, concise technical specifications to guide software development efforts.
- Collaboration with Developers: Partner with outsourcing developers to ensure the accurate and timely implementation of functionalities while maintaining quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Overseer testing and validation processes to ensure the delivered functionalities meet requirements and function as expected.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for enhancements or new capabilities within the web application to improve user experience and meet evolving business needs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, use manuals, workflows, technical specifications, and implementation processes for future reference.
- Project Management: Monitor timelines and progress, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferably in Software Engineering), Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in web software development of small-scale (e.g., Frontend - JavaScript Framework, and/ or Backend - Web Framework - Python, Relational Databases: PostgreSQL or MySQL for structured data)
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, technical documentation, QA testing, UATs, and project management.
- Familiarity with web application infrastructure, hosting options in cloud environments and APIs, web application integrations with other systems or applications.
