## About the Role In this Role, You Will - Design and build data applications on public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or hybrid cloud using a we'll architected framework. - Leveraging expertise in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making within the organization. - Lead a team of data analysts to execute the data strategy and maintain the ecosystem. - Regular evaluation of changes in the data industry and adopt the best practices in terms of technology, governance, security, and compliance. - Optimize cloud data infrastructure costs. - Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner. - Develop Power BI visual dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reports utilizing Microsoft technology stack. - Leverage modern Power BI to extract and manipulate data from a variety of diverse sources. - Write complex DAX functions in Power BI and Power Pivot. - Present alternative ways for internal customers to visualize and consume data. - Understand business questions/pain points and alleviate with supporting data. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to data governance policies. Conduct data quality checks and implement measures to maintain data integrity. - Research advanced analytic/visualization capabilities to improve customer understanding of data insights. - Collaborate cross-functionally at various levels and diplomatically influence stakeholders. - Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, deal effectively with ambiguity, change in business requirements, and self-prioritize under pressure. - Debug data issues and deliver quality results under tight timelines. ## Requirements - Extensive hands-on Power BI visual dashboards, applications, KPI (key performance indicators) scorecards, DAX functions. - Experience on cloud data ecosystems AWS (Amazon Web Services) Redshift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake or Data Bricks - Experience writing and tuning performance on complex SQL queries. - Experience with Star/Snowflake data models - Experience providing solutions on Retail or Finance data domains. - Ability to articulate, create, and maintain technical and non-technical documentation.
