We are a small, fast-moving team, and we care deeply about quality and the customer experience. ## About the Opportunity The QA Engineer joins our QA team to help keep quality high as we ship fast. You'll own hands-on testing across the Bevyl platform, working closely with engineering. Your focus is execution: testing new features, hunting edge cases in AI-powered video workflows, running regression suites, and turning customer-reported issues into clean, developer-ready tickets. ## Responsibilities - Execute test plans across new features, core regressions, and releases - Reproduce bugs, inspect console and network logs, and write clear tickets with exact reproduction steps - Write and maintain automated regression tests using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium - Think creatively to hunt edge cases in AI-powered video workflows - Partner with the QA team to triage customer-reported bugs and verify fixes - Help ensure stable, high-confidence deployments ## Requirements - 2 to 4 years of QA experience, ideally in a fast-paced startup - Experience with video editing tools - Strong technical triage skills: browser DevTools, API payloads, and system logs - Experience writing test scripts in JavaScript or Python to automate UI workflows - Strong written English for clear bug reports and asynchronous communication - Highly organized and comfortable working autonomously
