Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, plans, elevations, control drawings, assembly drawings, and setup drawings; Detail components for CNC cutting, fabrication, assembly, transportation, and installation; Create clear drawings showing materials, finishes, hardware, dimensions, tolerances, part numbers, and electrical requirements; Develop setup drawings for installation teams; Detail solutions involving hanging structures, lighting, electrical, networking, AV, flooring, staging, and component placement; Work directly with Designers to ensure big creative ideas remain functional and manufacturable; Partner with Project Management to keep projects moving and solve technical challenges; Collaborate with Fabrication to ensure what leaves CAD works in the shop; Support Service teams with prep, staging, shipping, and installation drawings; Provide Graphics with accurate elevations and graphic-placement opportunities; Work with external vendors to ensure their work aligns with the project vision and company standards; Create and maintain libraries of parts, layouts, and frequently used products; Apply knowledge of ADA requirements, building codes, show-floor regulations, and fabrication standards; Find opportunities to improve detailing processes, standards, and workflows.
