Responsibilities
Select and specify field instrumentation and final control elements; Design control panels and remote I/O architecture; Perform hazardous area classification and intrinsic safety loop calculations; Own instrumentation engineering documentation and drawing standards; Own safety instrumented system hardware scope including SIL verification; Tune PID and advanced regulatory control loops; Establish and execute instrument calibration programs; Specify and oversee installation of field wiring and OT network infrastructure; Prepare and execute hardware FAT, SAT, and commissioning plans; Diagnose and resolve field faults and perform root cause analysis; Support instrument reliability engineering; Coordinate with process, mechanical, and I&C software engineers; Provide technical direction to contractors and mentor junior engineers
