Junior Video Editor Intern

## About the Role We are looking for a Junior Video Editor who is passionate about video editing, content creation, and emerging AI technologies. This role is ideal for someone who has already gained some hands-on editing experience and wants to grow their skills while working on a variety of content formats. As a Junior Video Editor, you will work closely with our content and marketing teams to create engaging YouTube videos, software tutorials, advertisements, short-form content, and multilingual video content. You will also leverage modern AI tools to streamline editing workflows, dub videos into multiple languages, and help us reach a global audience. ## Core Focus Areas - YouTube Videos: Software tutorials, product walkthroughs, educational content - Short-Form Content: YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, social media clips - AI-Powered Dubbing: Video dubbing, lip-syncing, translated voiceovers, multilingual content - Marketing Videos: Product promos, advertisements, feature announcements - AI Video Production: Editing AI-generated content and creator-led content - Content Repurposing: Transforming long-form content into multiple formats ## Key Responsibilities ### Video Editing & Post Production - Edit software tutorial videos, product walkthroughs, advertisements, and YouTube content using Final Cut Pro. - Create engaging short-form content including YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and promotional clips. - Edit both creator-led videos and AI-generated video content. - Enhance videos using transitions, motion graphics, callouts, annotations, captions, sound effects, and background music. - Organize project files and maintain an efficient editing workflow. ### AI-Powered Dubbing & Content Adaptation - Use AI tools such as ElevenLabs, HeyGen, ChatGPT, Claude, and similar platforms to adapt and dub content. - Dub existing videos into multiple languages using AI-powered voice generation tools. - Create translated voiceovers, subtitles, captions, and platform-ready versions of videos. - Ensure dubbed content maintains quality, accuracy, and natural delivery. - Assist in expanding FunnelKit's content reach across global markets. ### Content Repurposing & Optimization - Convert long-form videos into multiple short-form assets for social media. - Adapt content for different platforms while maintaining quality and brand consistency. - Optimize videos according to platform-specific best practices and formats. - Collaborate with the marketing team to create high-performing content assets. ### Collaboration & Continuous Learning - Work closely with content creators, marketers, and team members to deliver videos on schedule. - Accept feedback positively and implement revisions efficiently. - Stay updated with video editing trends, AI tools, and content creation techniques. - Continuously explore new AI workflows that improve productivity and content quality. ## What We're Looking For ### Required Qualifications - Minimum 6 months of video editing experience through professional work, internships, freelance projects, or substantial personal projects. - Basic to intermediate knowledge of Final Cut Pro (mandatory). - Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, or similar platforms. - Understanding of YouTube content, software tutorials, advertisements, and social media video formats. - Basic knowledge of video editing principles, storytelling, pacing, and visual composition. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows. - Portfolio, showreel, or sample work demonstrating editing skills. ### Preferred Qualifications - Degree, diploma, or certification in Video Editing, Media, Film Production, or a related field. - Experience creating YouTube videos, Shorts, Reels, or digital marketing content. - Familiarity with AI-assisted video production workflows. - Basic understanding of motion graphics, subtitles, and video dubbing workflows. - Experience using AI tools for video dubbing, voice generation, or multilingual content creation is a plus. ### Personal Attributes - **AI-First Mindset**: You are excited about emerging AI tools and enjoy finding ways to improve workflows through automation and innovation. - **Detail-Oriented**: You care about video quality, accuracy, timing, audio, and visual consistency. - **Fast Learner**: You enjoy learning new tools, techniques, and technologies. - **Ownership Mindset**: You take responsibility for your work and strive to deliver polished content on time. - **Team Player**: You collaborate effectively with content creators, marketers, and other team members. - **Creative Thinker**: You can transform raw footage into engaging and compelling content for different audiences and platforms. ## What You'll Love About Working Here - **Learn & Grow**: Gain hands-on experience working on a variety of content formats including YouTube videos, tutorials, advertisements, and AI-powered content. - **Work with Cutting-Edge AI Tools**: Get exposure to industry-leading AI tools for video creation, du
