## About the role Thalmaar is building next-generation Vision AI platforms that transform live video, sensors, drones, and edge devices into actionable intelligence. We are looking for an AI Product Manager who can lead engineering execution to help shape the future of Vision AI. ## Responsibilities - Translate customer requirements into clear product specifications and engineering priorities. - Partner with AI, software, and computer vision engineers to define and deliver new capabilities. - Drive product development from concept through deployment. - Define success metrics and measure product performance. - Conduct competitive analysis and market research in AI, computer vision, robotics, and autonomous systems. - Support customer demonstrations, pilot programs, and product launches. - Collaborate closely with executive leadership on product direction and growth strategy. ## Requirements - 3+ years of Product Management experience. - Experience building AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Robotics, SaaS, or Enterprise Software products. - Strong understanding of modern AI technologies including: - Computer Vision - Video Analytics - Generative AI - Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs) - Ability to work directly with engineers and translate technical concepts into customer value. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment. ## Nice to have - Experience in defense technology, drones, autonomous systems, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial automation. - Prior startup experience. - Experience launching AI products from concept to market. - Technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Robotics, or related fields. ## What we offer - Build cutting-edge Vision AI products with real-world impact. - Work directly with customers solving complex operational problems. - Influence product direction from day one. - Collaborate with a highly technical team developing next-generation AI technologies. - Competitive salary, performance incentives, and potential equity participation. ## About the company Thalmaar is building next-generation Vision AI platforms that transform live video, sensors, drones, and edge devices into actionable intelligence. ## Location San Francisco Bay Area preferred, but exceptional candidates located anywhere within the United States will be considered.
