## About the Role
We're scaling our space infrastructure company, actively hiring mission-driven builders for equity-only roles with rapid growth ahead.
After 5 years of development, we have one mature spacecraft design (~40,000 engineering hours and millions in equivalent value) plus four additional designs in early stages. We have a committed core team of 13 and are now in aggressive expansion mode as we push multiple NASA and other grant applications, investor conversations, and asset stabilization to fuel growth.
## Mission
Near-term focus: Water transport spacecraft for LEO, cislunar space, and delivery to Mars and lunar outposts, collecting and moving ice/water resources from space.
Longer-term: ISRU operations at distant destinations including the subsurface oceans of Ganymede, Europa, and Enceladus, plus inspiring imagery of those worlds.
Parallel nuclear programs: Earth-based nuclear electric generation, nuclear-powered spacecraft, and lunar surface nuclear systems.
We're also exploring AI + physics-informed simulation tools to accelerate development as we scale.
We are hiring across multiple disciplines and plan to grow.
## Skill Sets
- Aerospace / Mechanical / Propulsion Engineers
- Nuclear engineers & systems specialists
- Electrical / Power systems engineers
- Software, simulation & AI/ML engineers (physics-informed modeling a big plus)
- Mission designers, orbital analysts
- Video / imagery engineers
## Reality Check
- We are currently all equity / shares only (including the founder).
- No salaries at this stage.
- Cash is tight while we close grants and funding, but we are moving fast to change that.
- This is high-ownership startup work with real upside.
- If you need immediate stable salary, this may not be the right fit right now.
- If you want meaningful equity in a rapidly growing space resources company, let's talk.
## What You Get
- Significant equity stake
- Direct impact on foundational technology for space settlement
- The chance to help build a much larger team and capability
## Location
South Texas base but strong remote contributors welcome.
(U.S. time zones + ITAR compliance required).
## Application Instructions
Apply here on WellFound:
- Your background (2–3 sentences)
- Which technical area excites you most and why
- Your availability (part-time/contract also considered) to start
