## About the role We are looking for a skilled, collaborative Software Engineer to join our team and design, build, and maintain high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will develop back-end services and APIs, contribute to front-end developments, work with databases, and participate in the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other engineers to deliver reliable, scalable applications. If you are passionate about software engineering, clean code, and continuous improvement, this fully remote role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful imapct. ## Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions across the stack. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. - Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment and maintenance. - Build scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices. - Implement business logic, data validation, error handling, and logging. - Develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or similar). - Design and optimize database schemas and queries in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Redis). - Use ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, Hibernate) for data access. - Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like JUnit, pytest, xUnit, Jest, or similar. - Implement logging, monitoring, and error tracking. - Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. - Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). - Deploy applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using containers (Docker, Kubernetes) when applicable. ## Requirements - Must be a resident of the United States - Previous experience in software engineering, full stack development, or related technical role is preferred. - Proficiency in at least one back-end language such as C# (.NET), Python, Java, Node.js, or Go. - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern frameworks is a plus. - Strong experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
