Full Stack Ai Engineer

## About the role AgentPress is hiring a hands-on contract Full-Stack AI Engineer to build full-stack product, AI agent orchestration systems, embeddable widgets, and enterprise integrations. ## Responsibilities - Build and ship end-to-end features across Bun/Hono/Elysia backends, React/Next.js frontends, and PostgreSQL data layers. - Work within our AI agent orchestration system: tool execution pipelines, RAG retrieval, multi-agent coordination, and real-time streaming via WebSockets. - Develop and maintain embeddable IIFE chat widgets deployed across client environments with complex CSP and integration constraints. - Interface directly with enterprise clients on technical integrations and troubleshoot production issues. - Contribute to infrastructure: CI/CD, background jobs with BullMQ, caching with Redis, and monitoring. ## Tech Stack - Bun, Hono, Elysia, Express, Node.js, BullMQ, Redis - React, Next.js, Tailwind, ShadCN, Radix UI - PostgreSQL, PGVector, Drizzle ORM - Vercel AI SDK, OpenAI/Anthropic/Google APIs, RAG pipelines, MCP integrations, Claude Code - AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions, Turborepo, Clerk ## Requirements - Strong TypeScript across frontend and backend (TypeScript-first codebase). - Solid React + at least one Node.js server framework (Bun, Hono, or Next.js a strong plus). - Comfort with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. - Ability to read an existing codebase and extend it without breaking conventions. - Excellent written and verbal English. - Self-directed work ethic; experience with AI/LLM tooling, prompt engineering, RAG, or agent architectures. - Prior work owning features end to end, preferably in a startup or small-team environment. - Willing to overlap 4-6 hours on weekdays with US time zones. ## Nice to have - Embeddable widgets / third-party integrations (CSP, CORS, iframe sandboxing) - Real-time systems (WebSockets, streaming) - B2B SaaS or dev-tools background ## About the company AgentPress ## How to apply Email [email protected] with the subject "Full-Stack AI Engineer Application."
